Gardai in Cork are still appealing for witnesses following Friday nights fatal accident.
The woman who died when the car she and two children were in entered the River Lee on Friday has been named as Gillian Daly.
Both children aged 10 and 11 managed to escape the vehicle when it hit the water at Kennedy Quay and were un-injured but very shaken.
However Gillian Daly, who was the driver, was trapped inside and drowned.
