The woman has been transferred to Cork University Hospital
Gardaí in Cork are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision last night in which a woman in her 30's was seriously injured.
The accident occured when the woman who was the sole occupant of a car crashed into the Airport roundabout at Farmers Cross, just after 8.30.pm.
Emergency services attended the scene and transferred the woman to Cork University Hospital, where it's understood that she is in a critical condition.
The car has been examined by the garda forensic investigation team.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact them.
