A man has been arrested after reports of criminal damage.
GARDA STATEMENT :
Gardaí attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage that occurred this morning in Ballydaheen, Mallow, Co. Cork, Monday 19th May 2025 at approximately 6am at a domestic residence.
A number of vehicles have been damaged during the incident. A male in his 50s was arrested and conveyed to Mallow Garda Station where he is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Damage Act, 1991.

Gardai are investigating a incident in which a number of cars were smashed with a beer keg in Mallow.
A man in his 50's was arrested following what is understood to have been a domestic issue.
Gardai responded to reports that car windows were smashed in the town.
Inquiries are ongoing.
