The Post Office is set to close within the next two weeks.
The impending closure of High Street Post Office is being described as the latest blow to the local economy in Turners Cross.
Local Cllr Dan Boyle only found out about the closure in recent days, he told Corks 96fm and C103 news that the closures of a lot of services in the city suburb in recent years has had a negative impact on the local economy as well as contributing negatively to climate change as people will have to become more dependent on their cars.
