The number of admitted patients waiting for hospital beds in Cork has dropped today.
42 people are waiting for a bed which is down 18 on yesterday.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are 34 in the Emergency Department at Cork University Hospital and 8 at the Mercy.
Letterkenny University Hospital still has highest single figure with 49.
352 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country.
