The 6am Heuston to Cork left Charleville around 55 minutes delayed.
Rail services between Mallow and Charleville are resuming after a vehicle strike on a bridge in the area caused delays.
It's understood that a lorry hit a bridge in Mallow near the hospital.
Irish Rail said crews were on-site working to move the vehicle from under the bridge.
