Tension at County Hall over National Broadband Plan

Fine Gael County Councillor John Paul O'Shea brought forward a motion calling on the council to welcome the signing of the plan.

The National Broadband Plan will see the roll out of high speed broadband throughout Cork County.

Speaking to Cork's 96FM and C103 News, Councillor O'Shea said there was widespread support in the chamber

Fianna Fail Councillor Seamus McGrath said the motion was brought forward prematurely
