A car entered the river at the pier in the early hours of the morning.
A teenager has been taken to hospital following an early morning river rescue in Cork.
The man in his late teens was rescued from a car which entered the water at Blackrock Pier,
Gardaí and Emergency Services attended the scene at around 4.00am and the teenager was taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, units of the Cork County Fire Service attended an incident in Fermoy.
A garden shed caught fire at Michael Fitzgerald Place, Clondulane shortly after 4am.
There were no injuries reported.
