A number of units of the Cork City Fire Service have been dealing with an incident in the Mahon Point area. Fire Control reported that the alarm was raised shortly after 8am when a teenage girl got into difficulty having fallen onto an embankment. Three units of the fire service from Anglesea Street and other emergency services responded . The injured woman has been taken to Cork University Hospital. It`s understood her injuries are serious.
