Diesel prices have held steady.
There was a slight drop in petrol prices this month, according to AA Ireland.
Petrol now averages 1 euro 73 per litre, down from 1 euro 77 in June while diesel remains steady at 1 euro 69.
Electric vehicle drivers will see higher costs for on-the-go charging.
From July 30th, ESB ecars is increasing its high-powered charger rate from 59 cent to 66 cent per kilowatt hour, although home charging costs are unchanged.
AA Ireland says the dip in petrol prices is a welcome relief for motorists but advises drivers to maintain their vehicles and adopt fuel-efficient habits to keep costs down.
