SIPTU members in the security industry are set for a pay increase and guaranteed minimum working hours.
A new agreement has been negotiated which will see their pay go up by more than 8 percent over the next three years.
The new Employment Regulation Order for the sector was agreed following negotiations between SIPTU and employer representatives.
Up to 17,000 security officers in the industry are to benefit from the ERO, which comes into force from today.
