
The accused is charged with murdering his wife Tina at their home in Youghal,County Cork.
Richard Satchwell will go on trial at the Central Criminal Court in Cork in April next year.
The accused, aged 57, with an address at Grattan Street, Youghal, is charged with murdering his wife Tina Satchwell at that address in March 2017.
Tina Satchwell was reported missing by her husband.
He was a truck driver, originally from Leicester but a resident in Cork for over 20 years.
Mrs Satchwel's remains were found concealed at her home last October, more than six years after she was reported missing.
Gardai excavated a concrete floor and walled-up area underneath the stairwell of the home that the couple shared on Grattan Street in Youghal.
A trial date has been set for April 28th 2025 and the case is expected to last for six weeks.
