Card holders can bring someone on-board for free this Bank Holiday weekend.
Transport for Ireland launched the initiative to encourage pepole to leave the car at home and use public transport instead.
The plus one promotion will operate on Bus Eireann, Cork Commuter Network, TFI Local Link and Irish Rail.
The Leap+1 promotion is taking place this February Bank Holiday weekend.
