A Cork TD has warned that the next government will face a revolt on the issue of pensions, if the increase in the pensions age is not reversed.
The warning from Solidarity TD, Mick Barry comes ahead of a planned Pension Age at North Gate Bridge at 1pm.
Deputy Barry will join a number of trade union activists in Cork who are campaigning in a personal capacity against the increase in the age at which a person can avail of the State Pension.
He says people who have spent more than 40 years working shouldn't have to wait longer for their pension;
