You should bring ID when going to vote
151,491 people are registered and qualified to vote in the Cork city area in the upcoming general election.
Cork City Council has issued a reminder that once registered polling cards are not required to vote.
Polling information cards are still being delivered across the city by An Post and the expectation is that the last of these should be delivered by Friday.
If you do not receive your polling card, you can go online (www.CheckTheRegister.ie) to see if you are registered to vote and check where your polling station is. Or you can ring the Franchise Section in Cork City Council on 021 4924000.
There has been a change of location of a polling station in the city. For anyone who used to vote at Blackrock GAA Club they should now go to Beaumont Boys National School.
