A post-mortem is being carried out on the body of the fisherman recovered from the sea in West Cork yesterday . Michael O`Brien , who is in his late 60`s went fishing from Schull in a small boat on Monday afternoon last but failed to return that evening. His punt was found that night at about 8-30pm , following a major search involving the rescue services . The body was subsequently recovered shortly before noon yesterday before being brought to Schull and was later removed to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem examination . Gardai and the Marine Casualty Investigation Board are continuing their investigations into the circumstances of the tragedy .
