Cork City Council is considering plans to install underwater viewing platforms along the River Lee at the Marina.

The Council has been working with marine biologists who claim the River Lee is home to a rare species of glowing fish, nicknamed 'Rebel Rays'.
The first of the platforms could be open in time for summer if approval is forthcoming at Monday night's meeting.
