Gardai believe the man, who’s originally from Eastern Europe, was in the company of Francis Dunne - whose body was found at a derelict house on Boreenmanna Road last Saturday.

Gardai investigating his murder understand that the man travelled from Cork to Belfast and on to Eastern Europe in the 36 hours after the body was discovered.

The remains of the 64 year old Churchfield native are expected to be released to his family within 48 hours.
