Official events have been organised
People across Cork are being asked to respect the emergency services tonight.
Bonfire Night is one of the busiest nights of the year in Cork, especially for the fire brigade.
Cork City Council is encouraging families to attend some of the official events taking place instead.
Earlier this month the fire brigade came under attack on two separate occasions while responding to call outs in the city.
