Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says messages circulating on WhatsApp are scaring and confusing to some people and causing real damage.
He is advising people to only get their information from trusted sources such as the HSE and Department of Foreign Affairs.
While, Tanaiste Simon Coveney says they will be working with Cork's 96FM, C103 and other media outlets to make sure that information is factual
