The awards took place last night
Paul O'Donovan was named RTE Sport Sportsperson of the Year at the 2024 awards ceremony last night.
The Skibbereen rower became the first Irish Olympian to win medals at three consecutive Games, rowing to gold in the lightweight double sculls alongside Fintan McCarthy.
He also took gold at the World Championships in the lightweight single sculls.
