
19 people with Covid19 are being treated in Cork University Hospital this morning.
One patient was in ICU in CUH with the disease last night.
A further five people are in the Mercy with the virus.
Two Covid-positive patients were in ICU in The Mercy last night.
In total, 240 people with Covid are receiving treatment in Irish hospitals.
The figures come as NPHET is set to assess whether level 3 is working or not on Thursday.
981 new cases have been reported in Cork over a two week period up to October 11th - the 14 day incidence rate now stands at 180.7 per 100 thousand people.
