Gardai say there were no serious injuries after a section of the road between Watergrasshill and Rathcormac had to be closed for about two hours yesterday . It followed a heavy hailstorm which led to dangerous driving conditions. Eight cars were involved in a pile up on the M8 , Cork \ Dublin road. Diversions were put in place and emergency services attended the scene .. A number of cars lost control near the Watergrasshill Toll Plaza.
