A meeting of Cork City Council today will hear a request for an emergency loan of 200 ,000 euro to save the Cork Film Festival from financial collapse. Councillors were presented with a report last week outlining how officials have been in talks with the film festival board since last January over it`s financial problems. The Arts Committee is understood to have agreed a proposal which will be put to a meeting of the City Council at 4 o`clock today ..
