Gardai are understood to be following a definite line of enquiry in their investigations into a one punch assault on Grand Parade in the early hours yesterday . The incident happened at about 3-15am and a man in his 30`s suffered what was described as a serious head injury. Reports today indicate that his condition had stabilised at Cork University Hospital . The attacker fled the scene and gardai later sealed off the incident scene to carry out a technical examination. Officers were also looking at CCTV pictures as part of the investigation.
