Anyone with information is asked to contact gardai
GardaĆ investigating the suspicious death of a 66-year old man in Douglas are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The body of the father of three, who has been named locally as Joe O'Callaghan, was discovered in his apartment by his wife when she returned from work at 8.30 this morning.
She raised the alarm and gardai sealed off the area at Galway's Lane.
A team of local garda forensics have been examining the scene while a sniffer dog arrived at lunchtime to search the area for clues.
GardaĆ are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination to determine the course of their investigation and they're asking people who were in the area between 10pm last night and 8.30 this morning to come forward.
