A man has died following a collision between a car and a bus in North Cork
The accident took place at around 6.15pm, 4km from Mallow on the Mallow to Killarney Road near Lombardstown.
The man who died was in his 20's and was the sole driver of the car.
The bus driver was taken to CUH but its believed his injuries are not life threatening.
The stretch of the Mallow to Killarney Road where the collision occured is currently closed
Gardai are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Mallow Garda Station on 022-31450.
