A man is due before Cork District Court this morning charged in connection with a serious assault in the city centre earlier this week.
The incident, on Grand Parade on Wednesday evening, left a man in his mid 20s in hospital in a critical condition.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and has been charged and is due before the courts today.
