A man in his 40's has been arrested in Bantry following the seizure of approximately 17,500 euro worth of suspected cocaine on Wednesday last.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by local Gardaí searched a house in the town and seized the suspected drug which will now be sent for analysis.
A man was arrested at the scene and brought to Bandon Garda Station.
He has since been released and file will be prepared for the DPP.
