35 kilos of herbal cannabis was seized in Cork yesterday by Revenue Officers as part of an intelligence led operation.
The seizure worth an estimated value of €700,000 was made in Bishopstown as a result of a joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the Cork Divisional Drugs Unit.
A man in his 40's was arrested at the scene and detained at Togher Garda Station.
