As part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Cork city, Detective Gardaí from Mayfield executed a search warrant at a house in Murmont Crescent at around 1.30pm yesterday.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized €7,500 of suspected MDMA.
The suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the scene and was brought to Mayfield Garda Station.
He has since been released.
A file will be prepared for the DPP.
