It happened at around 3pm yesterday (Monday) when a person entered the store on South Terrace, threatened staff and left with a number of tablets.
Gardaí then met a man in his 20's who fitted the description of the suspect.
He was arrested and has been charged.
He's appearing before Cork City District Court today.
