The Tanaiste Simon Coveney says there are plans in place to transform Carrigaline town centre.
The issue of recent business closures was raised at Monday`s Local Area Electoral Meeting.
Concerns have been expressed about increasing traffic volumes and not enough parking in the town which has seen a number of businesses close in recent months.
