A Book of Condolence is open at the Cathedral of St Mary & St Anne in Cork city and online.

Cork City Hall’s decision not to open a book of condolences for the late Pope has been described as “bizarre and unusual.”

Cork North Central TD Ken O’Flynn says there is civic importance of such gestures.
