The Taoiseach has asked Cork County Council to have a heart in relation to the Piper's Showman's Wagon.
The issue was raised in the Dail by Cork South-West TD Christopher O'Sullivan ahead of a gathering in solidarity with the Piper family to return the Showman's Wagon to Short Quay and the funfair to the Town Park.
An event will take place in Kinsale next Sunday at 3 o'clock.
