The issue of Irish Water is being seen as a major stumbling block to the formation of a new Government .. The country's two largest parties , who've yet to talk , appear to be moving further apart on the charges. Reports today claim Fianna Fáil are working on a bill to scrap the utility, while Fine Gael have insisted that they won't get rid of water charges... Cork North-Central Anti Austerity Alliance TD Mick Barry says , Fianna Fail`s pledge to suspend water charges for five years is insufficient and the tax should be simply abolished.
