A Boil Water Notice on the Killavullen Public Water Supply has been in place since early May.
The notice was issued because of problems with the water supply which caused the Water Treatment Plant to close down.
Work crews are implementing short-term works in an attempt to improve the reliability of the source as well as developing longer-term plans for the water supply in the area.
However, local Cllr William O Leary says the notice has been in place for too long:
