Gardaí in Cork are investigating a stabbing in the city last night.
Shortly after 7pm, Gardaí were alerted following the incident on Cornmarket street.
An 18 year old man was brought to Cork University Hospital for assessment, where it's understood he received a laceration following an altercation with another youth.
Investigations are believed to be ongoing today.
