HSE WARNING OVER SYNTHETIC DRUGS.

The HSE has issued a serious warning about the dangers of a psychoactive synthetic drug which is believed to have been taken by a group of students who were rushed to Cork University Hospital yesterday morning. Emergency services were alerted to a house party on Green Street near Pouladuff Road and six people were rushed to hospital where one remains in a serious condition. It's believed they took a drug called 2CP which is not very common in Ireland. David Lane of the Drug and Alcohol Services in Cork says , drugs like 2CP can have devastating consequences.. Dr Greg Murphy is a GP in Rochestown and he told Cork's 96FM News that it's hard to determine the contents of these drugs..
