HIGH COURT HEARING WILL DECIDE IF IAN BAILEY WILL STAND TRAIL IN FRANCE OVER SOPHIE TOSCAN DU PLANTIER DEATH
A High Court hearing today will decide if Ian Bailey stands trial in France over the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
A European Warrant has been issued for his arrest and a judge here is being asked to endorse it.
French filmmaker, Ms Toscan du Plantier, was found dead near her holiday home in Schull during Christmas 1996.
A post mortem revealed she’d been beaten to death.
French authorities want Mr Bailey to stand trial for voluntary homicide.
