Blood Bike South have been announced as the Grand Marshal for this year's St Patrick's Day Parade in Cork city.
The parade which is back this year after a two year absence will start at 1 o'clock on March 17th.
Blood Bike South is a Cork based charity providing hospitals and other medical facilities with out of hours,free and voluntary motorcycle transport for blood and other urgent medical materials.
The charity played a huge role in the transport of vital blood samples,medication,equipment and donations to medical centres all over Cork during the Covid pandemic.
