A number of wildfires were dealt with by fire fighters in County Cork overnight.
A fire was reported in the Ardgroom area on the Beara peninsula shortly before 11pm.
The unit in Castletownbere responded and spent a number of hours dealing with the fire.
The crew returned to base shortly after 2am this morning.
A fire was reported near Bweeng at about 9-30pm last night..
Mallow Fire Service responded and the incident was quickly brought under control.
Units of the fire service in Cork city were called to a gorse fire in the Glen area just before 8pm.
