A media blackout has been lifted
The alarm was raised earlier this afternoon and Gardaí responded to a Health Centre in the Goulds Hill area of Mallow.
A woman in her late teens is currently receiving medical attention following the incident.
No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
