Road users travelling in the Blarney area are reminded to slow down.
At a recent meeting with representatives of residents, community groups and businesses, vehicles exceeding the speed limit in the area is always the main concern.
Gardai say they have carried out speed checks along Killard, Waterloo Road and Tower road where numerous speed tickets were issued along with three penalty points.
