A man is still in hospital after being stabbed.
A man in his 40's is still receiving treatment in hospital after being stabbed in a late night assault in Cork city.
Gardaí at Anglesea Street are appealing for witnesses to an incident at Quaker Road at around 10 o'clock on Monday night.
The victim was taken to Cork University Hospital and treated for serious injuries.
His condition was described as critical at the time but had stabilised last evening. (Tues)
No arrests have been made and Garda investigations are continuing.
