A car and a motor bike collided on the Middle Glanmire Road yesterday evening.
Gardai in Cork are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a motorcyclist and a car.
The accident happened yesterday evening at around 5pm on the Middle Glanmire Roadd.
A motorcyclist in his 40s was taken to Cork University Hospital where his injuries are described as 'serious but not life threatening.'
A 28-year-old man, understood to be the driver of the car, was apprehended a short distance from the scene and arrested under Road Traffic legislation for Driving Under the Influence.
He was taken to the Bridewell Garda Station and has since been released without charge.
