30,000 euro is being allocated for capital works on Bere Island in West Cork.
It is part of a total allocation of over 164,000 euro for works on a number of islands off the Irish coast.
Projects will include road repairs and restoration as required for local connectivity.
Works will be carried out on a co-funded basis with the local council in each county.
