2 UNITS OF CORK CITY FIRE SERVICE RESPOND TO APARTMENT BLAZE
Emergency services attended the scene of a fire in Cork city overnight.
The call was received at 12.15 this morning of a fire in an apartment on Gerald Griffin Street.
Two units of Cork city fire service attended the blaze and remained at the scene until just after half past 1.
The apartment was occupied at the time and it's believed that two people were hospitalised, however the nature of their injuries remain unknown.
