Cork City Council will consider a number of ideas discussed at yesterdays meeting with traders in Douglas.
A timeline for the reopening of the Douglas Village Shopping Centre , easing of parking restrictions and a cut in rates were some of the issues raised.
It is part of a concentrated effort to get the village back on its feet.
A meeting was held to help formulate a plan of assistance for the traders affected by the devastating fire at the Shopping Centre car park.
Demolition work on the car park is due to start next week.
