The food bank was relaunched this week and opened at 5pm yesterday.
They ran out of supplies just before 6pm.
UCC Students' Union say it was heartbreaking to not have enough for students.
They have launched a GoFundMe and they are also accepting donations of food and hygiene products at their offices.
